More than 15,000 e-books available through state public library system

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Hawaii State Public Library System now offers more than 15,000 e-books to patrons through Project Gutenberg and the Overdrive website.

State librarian Richard Burns says the new e-books have doubled their current collection and will increase patron access to digital materials, content and information.

Patrons will have free access to these e-books and may transfer them to any EPUB-capable e-book reader including the Sony Reader, Nook, or Kobo.
