Stewart's 'Sanity' rally set for Honolulu

HONOLULU (AP) - A rally that is part of a national event sponsored by television comedian Jon Stewart is set for Honolulu.

The Hawaii version of the "Rally to Restore Sanity" is to begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the state Capitol grounds.

Among the scheduled guests is stage and screen star Daniel Dae Kim, who stars in the new version of "Hawaii Five-0."

Similar gatherings are set for dozens of state capitols and other cities around the country. The main rally will be held on the National Mall in Washington.

Dubbed the "Million Moderate March," the rallies aim to take a stand against what organizers call the raucous voices that are dominating the media and politics.

Stewart hosts the Comedy Channel program "The Daily Show."
