(HawaiiNewsNow) - He's just 20 years old and he's adding to his rap sheet. Joseph Bilonta skipped a court hearing in August. Now police need your help to track him down. Lisa Kubota has this week's Wanted Wednesday profile.

On November 19, 2009, police officers conducting surveillance because of a rise in car break-ins spotted Joseph Bilonta rummaging through a Nissan Sentra near Waikele Neighborhood Park.

"They stopped and detained the male, identified him as Bilonta and found that the vehicle that he was searching was an unreported auto theft," said Kim Buffett of CrimeStoppers.

Police contacted the owner, and when he arrived he noticed something suspicious.

"The rims and the tires were taken off that Nissan and put on the Nissan that Bilonta originally had, and items taken from that second Nissan were also found in Bilonta's car," said Buffett.

Officers arrested Bilonta for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and detaining stolen property. Then on January 25, 2010, a witness noticed two men and a woman in a car parked on Kaneana Street in Ewa Beach.

"One of the males, the backseat passenger, was seen breaking into a shed that's in the parking stall removing a box and rummaging through the contents," said Buffett.

The witness called police. Officers eventually tracked down the vehicle, but the suspects tried to run away.

"Bilonta was apprehended on Pahuhu Place and was positively identified by the witness," Buffett said. "He was placed under arrest for burglary in the second-degree."

Now the 20-year-old is wanted for two $20,000 warrants for failing to appear at a court hearing. Police describe him as 5'6", 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of the word "bones" on his left arm.

"He does have three prior convictions and they're for burglary, unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and probation violation," said Buffett. "He's known to hang out in the Honolulu area."

Helping police nab him could put up to $1,000 in your wallet. Joseph Bilonta is this week's Wanted Wednesday fugitive.
