HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Let's take a look at some of the Good Things in the news...

Pittsburgh Panthers coach Jamie Dixon risked his life Saturday night to save others. He pulled over to help passengers trapped in a car that had overturned against a guard rail. Officials say Dixon suffered injuries to his hand. he was treated at the scene and released. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash and are looking for the driver who fled the scene.

Halloween came early for man's best friend. Over the weekend, the 20th Annual Halloween Dog Parade was held at Tompkins Square Park in New York City. Hundreds of dogs paraded around in costumes ranging from a Tiffany box to Lady Gaga.

Dolphin activists say they have observed wild dolphins "tail walking" .. a trick usually taught to dolphins in captivity. The say Billie, a female dolphin who was released back into the wild in 1988 after only a few weeks in captivity passed the trick on to other dolphins. Scientists believe this is the first time this kind of dolphin social behavior has been seen anywhere in the world.
