Chatting with Billy V: October 22, 2010

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Conan O'Brien is welcoming a roster of big names his first week back on the air. His late-night run on TBS hosting "Conan" will kick off with Seth Rogen and musician Jack White on Monday, November 8. Other guests include Tom Hanks, 30 Rock regular Jack McBrayer and Soundgarden. Mad Men star Jon Hamm stops by on Wednesday, and Thursday, Conan will greet Michael Cera and Julie Bowen.

BTW that contest on twitter; Jack Nicholson and Lady Gaga are currently ahead of Pope Benedict, Justin Bieber and Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin in the popular vote.

Mel Gibson's high-profile cameo in The Hangover sequel has been axed amid reports the movie's cast angrily objected to sharing the spotlight with the troubled star. Mel has had a tough 2010 following his nasty split from ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, who has accused the actor of beating her in a violent altercation, which she caught in a series of abusive taped phone rants, in January. He was expected to bounce back from his troubles with a light-hearted guest role in The Hangover follow-up. However, director Todd Phillips has confirmed he was forced to scrap Gibson's cameo following tensions on-set.
