Honolulu (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Hawaiian Humane Society is holding its own Dogtoberfest on Saturday, October 23rd at its dog park on King Street. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. the Humane Society is offering a $5 Microchip Special. The first 25 adoptions are FREE starting at 2 p.m. The Humane Society's Animal Behaviorist, Julie DeNucci will talk about and demonstrate "Quick Training Tips" at 4 p.m. At 5:30 p.m. people and their pets can participate in a costume contest. Hawaii Pet Magazine will preview Hawaii Pet Film Festival movie finalists at 6:30 p.m., followed by a movie screening of Marmaduke at 7 p.m.
