HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police are reviewing their pursuit of a suspect that ended with a multi-car collision on Pali Highway Monday night.

Investigators say Romeo Padilla, 24, was driving a stolen Honda at a high rate of speed, trying to elude officers, when he rear-ended a Toyota. That impact triggered a chain-reaction crash that left a 53-year-old man seriously injured.

HPD says its Pursuit Review Board will evaluate the officers' actions that night, which is standard procedure.
