HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Here on Oahu, drivers who use Nimitz Highway should plan delays Thursday.
A portion of the highway will be shut down to film the movie "Battleship."
Crews will close two Koko Head bound lanes, leaving only the center lane open.
The closures are scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. from Valkenburgh to Elliot Street.
Sources say you may see a helicopter over the highway during that time.
Motorists are advised to find alternate routes.
