Report: Oahu motorists paying more at the pump

HONOLULU (AP) - A consumer advocacy site that tracks gasoline prices reports Oahu motorists are paying more at the pump.

According to GasBuddy.com, the average retail price for a gallon of gas on Sunday was $3.37, up 5.1 cents from a week ago.

It says the price was 26.2 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and 7 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.

Meanwhile, the national average has increased 1.8 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.83 per gallon. The price is 9.3 cents higher than last month and 27.9 cents higher than this time last year.
