HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Jackass 3-D crushed forecasts by selling an estimated $50 million in tickets during its first three days of release across the United States and Canada. If projections hold up when final data are issued today (Monday), the film will beat 2003's Scary Movie 3 ($48.1 million) to rank as the biggest October opening of all time. Women accounted for a surprisingly large 40 percent of the audience, up from 34 percent for the first film in October 2002.

Christina Aguilera in Waikiki this past weekend as she partied over at the Edition Waikiki and the brand new restaurant Morimoto Waikiki.  We told you last week she has filed for divorce, and seems to be enjoying getting re-acquainted with the singles crowd.

Recently a brush on the runways for Puna Krauss, owner of Hawaiian Musicʻs    Looked like he was going to be flying out of Philadelphia on time; as a matter of fact the pilot was pushing to get the plane out fast, but to no avail; a better known Hawaii person got priority in the skies; Punaʻs plane had to wait until Air Force One carrying President Barack Obama landed first.
