Two overnight stabbings, no arrests. The first happened at the Kalihi Valley Homes around 2:00am. That's where police say they took the victim away in critical condition. The second was in Kaneohe about an hour later. Details on the violence will be on Sunrise.
New regime for Honolulu. You will be able to address outgoing prosecutor Peter Carlisle as mayor today. He will be sworn in around 4:30pm. After 14 years, the new prosecutor Keith Kaneshiro will take his office. Before he does, see what Kaneshiro has to say about his new leadership position. Water, water everywhere. Residents say there have been 3 water main breaks in 24 hours near the intersection of Kapiolani Boulevard and Date Street. The Board of Water Supply says water service has been restored, but there is one lane contra-flowed in the area. When authorities believe it will be re-opened.
