HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - On Wednesday, the Neal S. Blaisdell Center Concert Hall will be covered with sealing tarps and fumigated, in an effort to eliminate termites and other pests.
Kamaaina Termite and Pest Control is performing the task at no cost to the City. The work is valued at $125,000.
Sealing tarps will be installed during the day, with fumigation to begin in the evening.
The building will remain covered for several days. No one will be admitted to the building until the task is complete.
The center will remain closed for cleanup until late next week.
