Bond Memorial Public Library to close, North Kohala Public Library to open

BIG ISLAND (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Bond Memorial Public Library in Kapaau will close its doors on Friday, Oct. 15, to allow time for staff to relocate the new North Kohala Public Library.

The book drop will be permanently closed at 4:00 p.m. on Oct. 15.

The closure will mark the end of more than 80 years of the library's service to the community.

The dedication and grand opening of the new North Kohala Public Library will be held on Monday, Nov. 8 at 11:00 a.m.

It will be located at 54-3645 Akoni Pule HIghway.
