Outdoor warning sirens to be tested on Oahu

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The City Department of Facility Maintenance, along with the Department of Emergency Management will be testing Oahu outdoor siren warning systems Tuesday, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The tests are being performed to make sure these sirens are operating at full power and range.

Residents and businesses in the communities may hear several 20-second siren soundings throughout these test times.

Nanakuli Beach Park 8:30 AM

Maili Beach Park 8:45 AM to 9:30 AM

Hanauma Bay 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM

Makapu'u Beach Park 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Hauula Beach Park 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM
