HONOLULU (AP) - A 44-year-old man who pleaded guilty to sex trafficking has been sentenced in Honolulu federal court to 25 years in prison.
U.S. District Judge David Ezra said Thursday that Rodney King's prison term will be followed by a life term of supervised released.
The U.S. Justice Department says King pleaded guilty in May to sex trafficking involving two women and two minor females, and attempted sex trafficking involving another woman.
In August, Ezra sentenced King's 31-year-old co-defendant, Sharon Mae Nishimura, to eight years and four months in prison. She had pleaded guilty in 2009 to attempted sex trafficking involving a woman and a minor female.
