The world's oldest living twins have a secret to their long life.. drink whisky and add a bit of exercise on top of it. The French sisters, Raymond and Lucienne turned 98 and were officially made the oldest living twins by the Guiness World Records in the 2011 edition of the book. Born in 1912 in Paris, the twins lived through 2 world wars and say the longevity comes from happiness in life.
Six people were chosen from 60,000 applicants to become "Pambassadors". The intrepid volunteers will now experience an intense and whirlwind training week to acquire scientific knowledge about Giant Panda conservation and care. One of the winners is a women from Florida. After training, she and her fellow "Pambassadors" will spend a month at the Giant Panda Research Center in China, tracking pandas in the wild.
And as the Major League Baseball season approaches its end, Kauai native Kila Ka'aihue is having a major power surge. For the second straight night he hit one out of the park and that gives him 3 homers in just 2 days. Ka'aihue now has 8 for the season. His latest gave Kansas City the lead, but they weren't able to hold on for the win. Still, Ka'aihue is making a strong bid to be a full-time player next year.
