Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow)- The Department of the Attorney General in partnership with the Narcotics Enforcement Division, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Longs Drugs, Molokai Drugs, High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area, National Guard, and Hawaii DARE, request your support in scheduling a time where some of our representatives can participate in your station's morning show to share information on the "Hawaii Drug Take-Back Program," scheduled from September 25, 2010 to December 11, 2010 at participating Longs Drugs and Molokai Drugs locations throughout the state.

The Hawaii Drug Take-Back Program is part of a nationwide effort coordinated by the DEA to collect potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs for destruction.  The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
