Coming up on Sunrise this morning

Good Wednesday Morning Sunrisers,

The hotel workers union, UNITEHERE! Local5, has another strike authorization vote scheduled this morning at the Hawaii Convention Center. This one affects roughly 1,400 unionized hotel workers at the Hilton Hawaiian village. A strike authorization makes a strike a possibility, but doesn't necessarily lead to one. Watch for updates on this story on Sunrise.

The primary election is just three days away! We'll continue our in-depth discussions with the leading gubernatorial candidates. Mufi Hannemann will make his last-minute pitch to undecided voters. He'll also respond to criticism about misleading campaign ads.

If you're looking for some family fun this weekend, head to Ko Olina Taste at Kapolei. Guests can sample delicious dishes from more than 20 restaurants at the all-you-can-eat benefit. The executive chef from Roy's Ko Olina will show off his skills in our kitchen!

Make sure to forward this email to your family and friends, so we can add to our Sunrise Ohana. We also want to hear from you! Send your comments and suggestions to Sunrise@HawaiiNewsNow.com.

You can catch all of these stories and segments streaming live online from 4:30 - 9:00 a.m. on HawaiiNewsNow.com or on KGMB, KHNL and KFVE. If you missed one, watch it later on our website.

Grace Lee and Sunny will be back in the studio on Monday.

See you on television,

~Lisa Kubota
