Abercrombie and Hannemann face off in Maui forum

HONOLULU (AP) - Hawaii's two leading Democratic candidates for governor are facing off on Maui for their final meeting before Saturday's election.

Neil Abercrombie and Mufi Hannemann meet Tuesday at Iao Theater in Wailuku for a town hall meeting sponsored by the Maui Chamber of Commerce.

Topics for debate will be selected from written questions from the audience.

The winner of the Democratic primary election advances to the general election to face the Republican candidate.

Lt. Gov. James "Duke" Aiona is facing John Carroll in the Republican primary.
