Helicopter squadron 363 returns to Hawaii Monday

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - About 150 Hawaii-based Marines will return to the islands from Afghanistan Monday.

Helicopter squadron 363 of the first Marine aircraft wing spent seven months in Afghanistan's Helmand province.

They provided air support to ground forces.

The Marines will be replaced in Afghanistan by heavy helicopter squadron 362, which is also based in Hawaii.
