HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The man who died while night diving in waters off Kualoa Regional Park Saturday has been identified as Sammy J. Tominino, 42, of Honolulu. The Medical Examiner's office says an autopsy on Monday confirmed that he died from an accidental drowning.
Authorities say Tominino was diving about 200 yards off shore with a group of friends at about 9:45 PM, when he ran into trouble. Members of his group brought him to shore and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Paramedics arrived and pronounced him dead at the scene.
