Hawaii to receive $39M in federal money for education jobs

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Hawaii is getting more federal money to help pay for education jobs.

Thirty-nine million dollars is on the way from a $10 billion education fun, which is distributed to states based on population.

Over the last two years, 300,000 education jobs nationwide were supported through stimulus funding, provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
