HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The TV soap Dallas will be updated for the small screen after efforts to turn the project into a major movie failed. John Travolta and Jennifer Lopez were both attached to the film project, but now the entire idea has been scrapped -- and instead, Dallas will be heading back to TV. TNT has reportedly warmed to the pilot episodes of the updated Dallas.
While out promoting his latest film (Hereafter) Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood shared with the L.A. Times that a Warner Bros. head honcho asked him about doing Superman. Clint says he told the suit, "Superman? Nah, nah, that's not for me. Not that there's anything wrong with it. It's for somebody, but not me."
Clint says he was also offered the role of James Bond after Sean Connery left the franchise. And again Clint says he felt like the role was meant for somebody else.
