HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - His rap sheet includes arson, harassment, and assault. Now Alexander Peroff is on the run.

July 29, 2009. A man parked his truck at Turtle's Beach in Waianae at about 3:00 PM. When he returned half an hour later he saw a man removing a stereo, wallet, and other items from the vehicle.

"He confronted the male. The male jumped into a pickup truck that was being driven by another person" said Sgt. Kim Buffett of CrimeStoppers.

Police found that getaway vehicle two days later parked near Hakimo Road and Farrington Highway. They contacted the owner, who said it had been loaned to Alexander Peroff.

Meanwhile, he was getting into trouble again.

On July 31, 2009 a Waianae woman was in her home on Mokiawe Street when she heard her Honda Civic start up.

"She went outside and observed a male in her Honda and stood outside approximately one foot away asking him what he was doing. The male reversed the car out of the driveway while she was standing there and drove off."

The woman called police. Officers quickly spotted the stolen car and took Peroff into custody.

"He was arrested for UCPV and also for driving without a license, resisting arrest and assault three because during his arrest he ran from the officers and a scuffle ensued."

Now, the 22-year-old is wanted for two $20,000 warrants for violating his Hope probation.

"He has three prior convictions which include arson, driving without a license and harassment. He does hang out in the Honolulu and Waianae areas" said Buffett.

Peroff is described as 5'5, weighing 148 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Helping police find him could put up to $1,000 in your wallet. If you know the whereabouts of this Wanted Wednesday fugitive, call Crimestoppers at 955-8300.
