HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The largest Mexican airline ended the last of its flights Saturday after its labor unions rejected a fresh round of pay cuts. Mexicana is working on fresh financing but so far nothing. Higher fares to Mexico will reduce the already-shrinking price difference between Hawaiian and Mexican resorts.
The air cargo division of Northwest Airlines has agreed to pay $38 million because of air cargo price fixing. The former Northwest cargo division is now part of Delta.

Starwood says this morning it will open eight more Sheratons in China before the end of this year... and another 18 over the next four years. There are already 30 Sheratons in China... and 30 more bearing other Starwood brands.
