HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - In April-May-June, the second quarter, Alaska had the highest household credit card debt, more than $7,000. Tennessee was second at $5,600 and Hawaii was $60 lower. But Hawaii consumers have been slowly paying down their credit cards since Christmas. Now Moody's reports a July decline in delinquent credit card debt nationwide. Credit card bills over 30 days behind, fell below five percent, the first time in 20 consecutive months.
