Good Things: August 25, 2010

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Let's take a look at some of the Good Things in the news...

This morning, the Waipio Little Leaguers are getting set for their elimination game a the Little League World Series. The team from Oahu's west side will have a rematch with a team from Ohio. Ohio lost to undefeated Georgia 6-0 in yesterday's winner's bracket. The game is scheduled to start at 10:00am Hawaii time and can be seen on ESPN.

Back on Oahu, a big sister/little sister tradition at St. Andrew's Priory. The Senior Class escorted kindergartners to their first weekly service at the Cathedral of St. Andrew. Also attending were members of a class that graduated a half-century ago.

And Taizo is really excited about a new invention in China that may help solve traffic jams. It's called the Elevated High-Speed Bus. The rather strange-looking rail line carries passengers over the road as cars drive underneath. This is especially good news considering that last week Beijing set the world record for longest-lasting traffic jam.
