HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow)- Hollywood's hottest charity campaign, "Tag The World" is hosting it's second annual celebrity charity triathlon on Sunday, August 22nd, Waikiki. This public VIP event will raise awareness and sponsorship for local Hawaii charity "Kids Hurt Too." High profile celebrities will be participating including; Andy Baldwin, Darin Brooks (Emmy winner, days of our lives), Mechad Brooks (true blood), Wilmar Valderama, Robert Parks-Valletta (young & the restless), Amber Valletta (actress/supermodel), Hannah Cornett (actress/pro-athlete), and many more.
Tag The World is a non-profit organization with innovative charitable concepts on a mission to raise awareness and funds for world causes while creating a fashionable way to support charities. Tag the World's purpose is to help raise funds and awareness for many established charities under five main causes: Cancer, Africa, Global, Green, Children, and Animals. Tag the World, co-founders Robert Parks-Valletta & Hannah Cornett have partnered with the exclusive celebrity jewelry designer Michael Barin to create five beautiful sterling silver tag necklaces that help spread the word about their unique cause. The five necklace tags are antiqued in finish emphasizing the original handcrafted design. This unique style of jewelry is fashionable, personal, and will catch the eyes of many. For each TAG purchased, the individual gets to choose which charity their proceeds will benefit. By providing this opportunity, that individual is able to help improve the world and feel as of their donation is going towards a charity that may hit close to home. Proceeds from the event on Sunday August 22nd go to Tag the World, who in turn will be sponsoring 30 foster youth to participate.
