Coming up on Sunrise this morning

Good Friday Morning Sunrisers,

A fatal shooting in Makiki tops our morning stories. It happened at 2009 Makiki Drive at around 1:00 a.m. Police say multiple people were shot. Lisa Kubota is on the scene. We will continue to follow this local story and bring you the latest updates throughout the broadcast.

The nationwide manhunt for a pair of prison escapees is now over. John McCluskey and his alleged female accomplice Casslyn Welch were captured Thursday, after nearly three weeks on the run. A forest ranger spotted them at a campground in Arizona. The self-dubbed Bonnie and Clyde duo were both armed.

We continue with Made in Hawaii week. And today it's all about Native Hawaiian art. Nelson Makua, Director `Ike Ku`una Native Hawaiian Arts, and feather lei artist Paulette Kahalepuna join us in studio.

Have you been keeping up with our recent reports on Hawaii's dog breeding industry? Well, the Hawaiian Humane Society is here, along a special friend who needs your help.
