The search is on for a hit-and-run driver who struck a child at the intersection of King and Isenberg Streets yesterday around 3pm. Police believe a white truck or SUV hit the girl who was rushed in critical condition to the hospital. Tune in for the latest on the hunt.
A high speed chase ended with a car ripped in half and sent two people to the hospital on the Big Island. Police say they were trying to catch a stolen car suspect through the Keaau and Volcano areas on Highway 11. Officers say the suspect rammed into their car and crashed into an elderly couple in another vehicle. Watch for more details.
