WAIKIKI (HawaiiNewsNow) - It's a tradition that spans nearly 30 years. The Ann Kang Invitational Volleyball tournament is in full swing, literally.

Teams from across the state, California, Texas and even one from Taiwan took to the courts on Friday.

In a contest between Pearl City and Kaiser, Chargers' outside hitter Kaya Chong nails an ace for a point, which helped her team win, 25-22 and 25-19.

The tourney continues through Saturday at Iolani School.
