HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Based on June stats just out, Hawaiian is on time at San Francisco only 70 percent of the time, and slightly worse at LAX, lagging all the major carriers. But Hawaiian is on time 88 percent of the time at SeaTac. Hawaiian's overall record stems in part from a strong performance interisland. Hawaii airports are less congested than most mainland airports.

The entertainment software association, in a new national report, says America employs thousands of video game developers, many of whom make six figures. Hawaii has its own video game development industry, contributing 23 million a year to the Hawaii economy and directly or indirectly employing 550 people.

Honolulu-based Barnwell Industries swings to a small quarterly profit, about a third of a million dollars. Barnwell has land holdings north of Kona and oil leases in Canada.

The Building Industry Association of Hawaii is preparing for its annual remodeling show at the convention center, this will be the sixth "Remodel it Right" show. It opens Friday.

Grand opening is this weekend for the new Pandora store at Ala Moana, but the store is actually open already. Pandora is the company that sells customizable bracelets, necklaces and earrings.
