Coming up on Sunrise this morning

Good Wednesday morning Sunrisers,

Here are some of the stories our crew is working on.

We are learning more about the tragic Alaskan plane crash that killed former U.S. Senator Ted Stevens. Authorities report that it crashed 15 minutes after take-off. Hear from Hawaii Senator Daniel Inouye who considered Stevens his brother.

An emergency $26 billion state aid bill has passed in the U.S. House. It will provide money for Hawaii teacher salaries and for our Medicaid system. Tune in to see just how much money that means for the state.

Former U.S. Representative Neil Abercrombie and former Honolulu Mayor Mufi Hannemann will square off in a debate this morning. It's at the Dole Cannery Iwilei Ballroom at 11:30 am. The public is welcome to attend.

From "My Girl" and "Just my Imagination", the Sunrise crew loves the Temptations and The Four Tops! You don't want to miss this double-feature performance by these Motown greats!

If you're looking for cuteness, tune in to see Anjelo "Lil Demon" Baligad. He is a 9-year-old break dancer from Ewa Beach. He's been on the Ellen Degeneres Show, Maury Povich and Oprah. He also has a small roll in the new movie Step Up 3D. He is a big sensation in a small body.

Make sure to forward this e-mail to your family and friends, so we can add to our Sunrise Ohana. We also want to hear from YOU! So email us your comments and suggestions to Sunrise@HawaiiNewsNow.com.

You can catch all of these stories and segments streaming live online from 4:30 - 9:00 a.m. on HawaiiNewsNow.com or on KGMB, KHNL and on KFVE.

Sunny decided to stay at home with her grandma, but the rest of the crew is pumped to see you soon in the 5 o'clock hour!
