A U-H nursing student will soon find out if she can "Outwit, Outplay and Outlast" the competition on "Survivor: Nicaragua." Twenty year old Kelly Shinn has been chosen to compete on the CBS reality program. She describes herself as vivacious, confident and outspoken. In other words, she is perfect for reality TV.
She says she will do whatever it takes to win. "If I have to use my looks to my advantage, I definitely would. In high school I was biggest flirt. And I'm not saying I'm going to be on the show and flirting with everybody, but when it comes down to a million dollars, whatever needs to be done ... will get done."

Thousands of motorcycle lovers from around the world have ridden in Sturgis, South Dakota for the start of the annual motorcycle rally. Organizers say even on the first day, they are on track to break attendance records. More than 700 temporary vendors are in town, which is up from last year. This is the 70th year for the rally. It has had a turbulent past, but now city officials say it is a more family event.
