Good Tuesday Morning Sunrisers,
This is just a small portion of what our crew is working on.
A small plane crashed in Alaska and now the Associated Press is reporting that longtime former Senator Ted Stevens may have been on board. Watch for updates on this developing national story.
As for education, a team from Hawaii including Superintendent Katherine Matayoshi is trying to secure funds in Washington, D.C. They are hoping to receive $75 million from the "Race to the Top" fund.
My star gazers are on, I'm in full search mode of Johnny Depp. He is reportedly in Hawaii filming the fourth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean movie. I haven't found him on land, so I drag Steve out to sea as we try to catch a glimpse of this A-lister in Kaneohe Bay. Find out if we spot him, in our Sunrise Field Trip.
If you watch our show, you know we LOVE to eat. Chef Chai joins us on Tuesdays. This week, he's making one of my favorites, hot pot! Not only is it healthy, but it is so delicious. I could eat it every day, if I only knew how to make it. Watch and learn how to make nabe, the Chai way.

Sunny and I will see you in a few minutes on the show. That is, if the dog can muster the energy to walk from my desk to the set. That's approximately 10 yards.
