HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A contract dispute may result in many unhappy sports fans here in the islands. Time Warner Cable is in negotiations with Walt Disney, over programming fees for Disney-owned channels, like ESPN.
The deadline to reach a deal is September 2, the same day as the Warriors game against USC.
If no deal is reached, the channels will be blacked out at midnight.
That will affect roughly 400,000 Oceanic Cable customers.
