Police searching for hit-and-run driver who struck pedestrian

PEARL CITY (HawaiiNewsNow) – Police are searching for the driver of an SUV who struck a pedestrian Monday morning in Pearl City. A 62-year-old man was crossing Kamehameha Highway in a marked crosswalk near Pali Momi Hospital at around 7:00 AM.

That's when police say a white SUV traveling east ran a red light and struck the man in the middle lane. The victim was transported to Pali Momi in serious condition, suffering from a possible broken leg.
