Colt Brennan in preseason on Thursday

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Colt Brennan could already be working himself into some playing time this week. The Raiders say they may play Brennan in Oakland's pre-season game against the Cowboys Thursday.

Head coach Tom Cable says the Raiders released Johnny Holland to make room for Colt.

And who knows what happens if backups Bruce Gradkowski and Charlie Frye can't play this week.

The former Warrior completed four of six throws in his first practice Sunday.

Brennan then spent time with quarterbacks coach Paul Hackett after practice to get a crash course in Oakland's offense.
