Droste estate gives UH Hilo $810,000

HILO (HawaiiNewsNow) - The University of Hawaii in Hilo is getting a big amount of money. The estate of the late Howard and Yoneko Droste, left the school $810,000.

It's the largest gift of its kind in the university's history.

The Droste's were longtime faculty members.

The university says it will use the money to enhance the art and English departments.
