Urban art, books and architecture thrive at Waikiki Parc. A new pop-up bookstore opened this week that features New Yorker Jeff Staple. But you need to visit soon. The exhibit and store will only be there until Sunday. Valet parking is free with validation. This is part of the Interisland Terminal Program that brings in art, film and design to Honolulu.
Big news for Twilight fans. The final movie is going to be in two parts. In between, the wait will be more than a year. Summit Entertainment announced the second part of the "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn"will be released on November 16, 2012. Twi-hards can see the first part of the finale a year earlier on November 18, 2011.
And check out this amazing catch at a baseball game in Japan. Masato Akamatsu of the Hiroshima Carp actually climbed the outfield wall to make a spectacular home-run-robbing catch. The appreciative home crowd shows their support for Akamatsu's efforts with a round of applause and even Akamatsu himself seems to be stunned for a moment before flashing a smile.
