HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Let's take a look at some of the Good Things in the news...
Happy birthday to Mouila the gorilla! She just turned 50 years old.. making her the oldest living female gorilla in England. Her keepers gave her special present boxes with treats hidden inside. They were designed to encourage problem solving. Animal experts say in human years, the primate is about 100 years old.
Keeping with the animal theme, Hawaii's famous resident golden lobster "Leilani" has a cousin on the East Coast. That yellow lobster was caught over the weekend. Experts say the genetic feature is very rare, occurring in about 1 in 30 million lobsters. This yellow lobster will be put on display at the state pier in Rhode Island.
And speaking of Leilani, she will be back on display soon at the Waikiki Aquarium. Back in May, Leilani the lobster was sent to "chill out" in a special cold water tank that mimics seasonal change in water temperature. She will be back on display at the aquarium's Family Night event on August 27.
