Bombing kills six in Baghdad

BAGHDAD (AP) - A midmorning Baghdad bombing has killed six people and injured 15 others in the eastern Shiite slum of Sadr City.

The bombing comes at a time when thousands are headed to Karbala (KAHR'-bah-lah), 50 miles south of Baghdad, for an important religious holiday marking the birth of a Shiite saint.

Meanwhile, officials say the five-man crew of an Iraqi military helicopter died when a sandstorm brought the aircraft down.
