Congratulations to University of Hawaii second baseman Kolten Wong. Wong has been selected for the Cape Cod Baseball League All-star Game. The Cape Cod league is the top level of college summer baseball in America. The Hilo native is now second in batting for the league. The all-star game will be played next Wednesday at Fenway Park in Boston.

Laugh therapy has become the new way to deal with stress in the Philippines. In Manila, people gather to learn how to do "Laugh Yoga".. saying it awakens the senses so people can better deal with loneliness or depression. The laughter is combined with stretching and breathing techniques.

With a growing middle class in China, a new trend among pet owners is good news for the dog salon business. After they get pampered with a foam bath, canines are getting their fur dyed a variety of colors. It takes a whole day for the procedure and costs between $320 and $640.
