Good news for Kapolei residents. Yesterday city leaders broke ground on the future site of the East Kapolei Fire Station. The $10.9 million facility will be built on Kinoiki street. Construction should be completed in December 2011.
The Minnesota Zoo is celebrating a new addition to its family.. a baby dolphin. "Allie" the dolphin is now the proud mother to a 30 pound calf. The calf's father "Semo" is 45 years old and believed to be the oldest reproducing male dolphin in captivity.
Our resident DJ Byron the Fur may have a place to spend his golden years. In Sao Paolo, Brazil, an ambitious social project called, "I'm no granny.. I'm a DJ" was launched by a local DJ. Riding the popularity of a British granny who conquered the French party scene this year, the DJ class is just for older students.
