HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Ever made a hole-in-one? Well 9-year-old David Crankshaw has. The Michigan boy did his amazing feat, on a par 3 hole at Georgetown Country Club in Ann Arbor. From about 71 yards out, David, who has only been playing golf for a few weeks, knocked it in with a 5-iron. A few friends and a very proud father watched the shot bounce onto the green and into the hole.

TV celebrity pastry chef Duff Goldman brought a little cake magic to Hampton, Virginia as he helped the coastal city celebrate its 400th anniversary. The star of the Food Network's "Ace of Cakes" show-baked a replica of St. John's Episcopal Church. The church is the oldest English-speaking parish in America, founded in 1610. Quite a few people gathered to see the work of art and even more came to taste it.

And thousands across the Southern Hemisphere caught a rare event when a full solar eclipse happened yesterday. The skies above Easter Island became dark as night for about 4 minutes. Because of the remote location of the eclipse site, just a few islands in the South Pacific were completely in the shade.
