HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Governor Linda Lingle's decision to veto the civil unions bill has received a lot of attention across the nation, some of it positive, some negative. Liberal MSNBC commentator Keith Olbermann put her on his list of "worst persons" Wednesday.
He implied she was being hypocritical when she said that "it would be a mistake to allow a decision of this magnitude to be made by one individual…" because she was the person who made the decision to veto it..
"Are you suggesting we should have a referendum on everything more important than designating January 11th as Hawaiian Pineapple Day? If you`re opposed, have the courage to say you`re opposed. Don`t be hide behind measly sophistry" said Olbermann.
