HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A popular island entertainer says he will no longer fight the drunken driving charge against him. Cecilio Rodriguez, half of the Hawaiian music duo Cecilio and Kapono, appeared before an Oahu judge Wednesday afternoon.
Police say he was intoxicated when they pulled his car over on the Moanalua Freeway in February. Rodriguez is set to change his not guilty plea in October. Because this is his second DUI offense, he faces 5 to 14 days in jail and 240 hours of community service.
