WAILUKU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Maui police say speed, alcohol, and drugs may be factors in an early morning crash on Maui Saturday.
Investigators say a 26-year old Kihei woman was behind the wheel of a car which was traveling north on Honoapiilani Highway. That's when she lost control of the car, which collided into a dirt embankment and overturned.
Two passengers, a 25-year old man and a 39-year old man were transported to the Maui Memorial Medical Center. The 39-year old was last listed in critical condition. The other two occupants were in serious.
