Armed man robs Salt Lake bank

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Police are searching for an armed man who robbed the Bank of Hawaii branch near the Salt Lake Target store Thursday afternoon. At around 2:17 PM a man approached a teller, pointed a handgun and demanded money. As he left the bank he was seen getting into the passenger seat of an older model gray van which fled mauka on Malaai Street.

The man is approximately 5'6" to 5'8" tall and weighs 140-160 pounds. He has blond hair. He was wearing a gray long sleeve shirt, a white "NY" baseball cap, sunglasses and long pants.
