HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Police in Portland, Oregon, say they have reopened their investigation into a massage therapist's allegation that former Vice President Al Gore had "unwanted sexual contact" with her in 2006, according to police yesterday. "The Portland Police Bureau has made the decision to re-open the case regarding the allegations brought forward against Mr. Al Gore," Detective Mary Wheat said in a statement; A renewed investigation "will only benefit Mr. Gore," said Kalee Kreider,  spokeswoman for the former vice president.

The first box office numbers from The Twilight Saga: Eclipse are in from the midnight showing last night, and they are record-breaking:  A record $30 million in 3 hours beating The Twilight Saga: New Moon of $26.27 million.  This leaves open the question as to whether Eclipse's total opening day will surpass the record set by The Twilight Saga: New Moon of $72.7 million.

Lindsay Lohan's former personal assistant doesn't want the party to end. The assistant, Eleonore, has been re-hired for a month trial run because "quitters aren't to be trusted in Camp Lohan."
